So Biblical Theological Seminary has gone emergent?! Is this not the old Faith Theological Seminary? (As in Francis Schaeffer and Carl McIntyre?) Is this another example of pietism leading to heterodoxy?

  2. Jonathan B says:

Biblical began as Biblical School of Theology in 1971 through the shared vision of Dr. Allan A. MacRae, former president of Faith Theological School, and Dr. Jack W. Murray, president of Biblie Evangelism, Inc.

Hey guys, great show! Spot on! And, for what its worth, you all were very fair to Franke. At least it appeared to me that you were able to be critical without being demeaning. And your criticism ought to solicit a response from Franke. I would be interested to hear how he might reply.

  4. Jim Cassidy says:

    Jared,

Me thinks that perhaps Franke is experiencing an epistemic failure.

    Blessings,

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve. (Romans 16:17-18)
