Description

Stay with us in beautiful Wimberley, Texas.

Join us in beautiful Wimberley, Texas at an gorgeous time of year for a unique educational event. Dr. Lane G. Tipton, Professor of Biblical and Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary, will teach an introduction to Reformed biblical theology. Dr. Tipton will teach twelve thirty-minute lessons in stunning Chapel Hall at Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley. The talks are perfectly geared for thoughtful adult Christians as well as church officers and leaders.

In addition to the seminar, we have designed a unique opportunity for fellowship and theological discussion. What many people love the most about our events is the discussion and fellowship after hours. We’re multiplying those opportunities throughout the week by making it possible for people to stay in the same location.

Five guesthouses have been reserved at a private location where Reformed Forum contributors will be staying. It is a beautiful venue with many common areas for fellowship before and after the seminar sessions at Old Glory Ranch. Each house will be rented as an individual unit for five nights (April 1–6, 2019). That is, one person must reserve an entire house and then make arrangements with any other people who may want to stay in that house. Couples may desire a house to themselves. A group of four men may want to stay together, sharing the expense. However you decide to manage your reservation, one person must reserve the house at registration.

Registration for the seminar event is separate. Please register at Eventbrite.

The Roost is spacious and inviting with vaulted ceilings. Relax on your front deck with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. From your dining room, you’ll be able to enjoy a faraway view of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. (1 bedroom, 1 bath, and sofa bed – Sleeps 4)

Location:
290 Eagles Nest Drive
Wimberley, TX 78676

This is an event like no other we have experienced. This would be a great opportunity for couples to have a getaway in the Texas hill country at a beautiful time of year even while officers and leaders will enjoy the stimulating theological discussion.
