This is the first episode. I thought about that when I produced the episode. I guess I was just being lazy in not recording a separate introduction.

I’m curious, though: in this first entry’s reading you say, “today we’re continuing our reading of the Institutes…” Was there an entry prior to this one? I’m not finding any in the feed or in the blog. I realize it may just be a standard phrase preceding them all.

I ask because as many may know or notice there are indeed some prefatory documents in the CCEL version you’ve pointed to that preceded Book one (Muuray’s Intro, Calvin’s addresses, subject, epistles, etc. as offered starting at http://www.ccel.org/ccel/calvin/institutes.ii.i.html),
