If the WCF is compatible with what is known as “covenant” or “historic” premillennialism, what is the WCF’s relationship with traditional dispensationalism’s eschatology? (I understand “traditional” dispensationalism to be distinct from “historic” dispensationalism, the former emphasizing the fulfillment of the New Covenant to ethnic Jews, whereas the latter does not.)

I have some questions about the Westminster divines and the early reformers. Mr. Jue mentioned that some of the divines held to various chiliastic positions and that the confession itself was not strictly exclusive of such views. Isn’t the confession itself necessarily covenantal? If it is, is a covenantal view of Scripture compatible with premillenarianism of any kind? Thank you for any help you can offer.
