One variation that I enjoyed was combining the reading of the Bible as outlined in the Discipleship Journal Plan while listening to Max McClean’s audio reading: https://www.biblegateway.com/audio/mclean/kjv/Gen.1.
That was helpful in learning to pronounce difficult names and places.
