Dr. Strange does a good job here…. Bottom-line, if I got everything that Dr. Strange speaks of here right, the church, and primary church leaders and thinkers, believe that all men are created equal in the image of God, and whether slave or free, need the gospel….. the sustaining of the nation is why many held out calling for stronger action, which was ultimately inevitable, hence the civil war… Unfortunately, these men, both religious and non, were products of the time and the desires of men. It appears the church is under extra scrutiny as is our whole nation over past sins related to racism and slavery. Which is ok, HOWEVER, the timing and those pushing these agendas in our day, which includes the destruction of marriage, is very nefarious…. So leaders of the PCA and Russell Moore types will understand if your typical Reformed Christian will reject the timing, language, and further social gospel manipulations of the statist who are prominently behind these things…. Just preach the gospel and stop making clicks and social clubs out of the local congregation and integration will occur naturally. We have to worry about preserving theology and orthodoxy and remaining inclusive as far as strictly gospel-centered-driven evangelism to get caught up in any form of social engineering or reparations….. God is perfect, we cant change the sins of the past without falling into new sins in the future in the process… which is what happens whenever we take our eye off the ball
