Thank you for this Forum. I read Gresham’s book about a year ago, before finding it. I was raised, ‘unknowingly’ in a very liberal church that will even boast about it.There has never been any Doctrine preached that I can ever recall going back to a young age. A lot just seemed to be ‘assumed’. Those who were not like ‘this’ were ‘stuck’ in ‘old, stale religion’. It’s very hard, as my dad was the minister of this church – I still go to the church (as a result) and it’s just gotten worse over time — to be witness to what is NOT going on and being said every Sunday. There are no bibles in the pews and the hymnal is this ‘New Century Hymnal” where God the Father is removed. He is removed even from the Lord’s Prayer, instead ‘we’ sing, ‘Creator Who is in heaven’..and instead of Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost, it’s “Creator Christ and Holy Ghost’. there is a direct relationship between liberalism and today’s Gnosticism (at least in the church I’m at). The Gospel is not gospel without resistance and conflict.

What a tremendous opportunity for Reformed Forum. It is truly marvelous to see how the Lord works through our “feeble” and “ordinary” efforts. I am happy to be a part of a church that has not only benefited from your ministry and the ministry of Reformed Forum, but also supports Reformed Forum in its own way.
