I’ve been intrigued by that idea of enmity between the 2 seeds for as long as I can remember and have thought it seems to be underemphasized. It seems foundational to the theology of Paul, for example, where he dichotomizes things such as old man / new man, earthly / heavenly, flesh / Spirit, present age / age to come.
