I was really wanting to hear the discussion concerning, “Kingdom through Covenant.”

Theological “geekdom” at its best! The teaching was superb and the fellowship was sweet.

8) Exactly, Camden.

I Cor 1:21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22 Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

What one man labels “egghead” another labels “Machen’s Warrior Child.”

I’ve thought before that the 2 Adam’s motif is the best way to understand the basic structure of biblical covenant theology, but I think the 3 sons is even better. It takes into account the additional relationship between Israel under Moses and Christ as the 2nd Adam as presented in Hebrews.

Thanks for posting this. I bet the conference was fun for all theological eggheads. Wished I could have been there.
