Sooo, 2 books that just have to be at the top of the list for 2011: A New Testament Biblical Theology; The Unfolding Of the Old Testament In the New by G.K. Beale and The Christian Faith by Michael Horton.

A book I found at the WTS bookstore bargain books was The Family Tree Of Reformed Biblical Theology. It is easy to read and will help you understand Vos and John Owens. I found it very helpful.

His theological analysis of conservative movements and the modern Left is both fascinating and instructive. The book is only about 120 pages but manages to make the reader rethink assumed political allegiances. one should know the issues and try to apply the biblical WV when one votes. All Trueman’s books that I have read have been clever and engaging, including the 2 mentioned by RF.
