Love TWIT, just about all of the Radiotopia podcasts (the first Allusionist was great), some sci-fi (Escape Pod and others). BBC4’s Beyond Belief as well as the British Intelligence Squared for an across the pond perspective. America’s Test Kitchen for the foodie in me (check out the Smoked Puffin episode). MotorWeek, The Federalist Radio Hour and then Mortification of Spin from our friends at the Alliance. Beats sports radio in the car. I’m amazed at how many times what I learn in podcasts comes up in discussion.

Btw Camden, I also listen to fountain pen podcasts, and my friends berate me for it too (kidding).

Gastropod is the only other podcast I support financially!

Nice. I’ve listened to a bunch of Planet Money episodes. I’ll have to check out Gastropod.

I’ve spent a lot of time working on the quality of ours (http://www.shilohopc.org/sermons/). I have thought about doing a post somewhere about my workflow for it. I find that the audio from many churches is unnecessarily bad.

NPR’s Planet Money is typically quite good.

I’ve listened to almost every episode. There are very interesting overlaps of Roberts’ Hayekian worldview and Van Til’s though. (“The critique of scientism that I learned when I read F. A.
Hayek and Michael Polanyi seemed to be similar to the defense of Christian
presuppositionalism that I was taught in my religion and philosophy
courses” http://www.gordon.edu/ace/pdf/SymposiumF05F&E46.pdf)

I tried Radiolab but can’t do it because of the way they keep interrupting each other. Can’t do it!

I listen to EconTalk. Not every topic seems interesting when I see it, but usually by the end I’m glad I listened.

I also listen to Penn’s Sunday School (I like Penn Jillette). Haven’t listened in a while, but he has a perspective I enjoy. Not for everyone, and the standard explicit content warning.

The Phil Hendrie podcast is another favorite. I grew up listening to the Phil Hendrie show, so I’m partial to his comedy. (Also an explicit content warning). He also stated a podcast that interviews comedians on their influences, techniques, and personal lives called “The Science of the Funny”.

Some history podcasts I’ve enjoyed, or have in my quite waiting to jump into are “The History of Rome” by Mike Duncan and “The History of Byzantium” by Robin Pearson.
