Thanks for the comment Hiram. The subject was an introduction to Owen so we were not getting into those kinds of specifics. You are correct that Owen disagreed more because of Baxter’s theology and Ryan and I would agree with Owen. But I tried to keep us on the subject of Owen and his life and writings rather than specific disagreements. I will keep a follow up interview on that subject in mind.

He taught another Gospel and was, therefore, anathema, cf. Gal 1:8-9.

I enjoy your podcasts, brothers, but I had to stop listening to this one as your guest seemed to make Owen’s controversy with Baxter more of a matter of personality conflicts than a concern for the Gospel.
