Sorry for the delay in answering, it is hard to know if there is a question on an old episode. What you described is not unheard of in Dispensationalism but most do not teach that you have to keep the law in the Tribulation period. The Holy Spirit is removed but the Holy Spirit still regenerates people for salvation. Most Dispensationalists would not teach that you have to be a martyr to be saved during the Tribulation period, however; they will teach that most Christians will become martyrs during the Trib. At the Second Coming at the end of the Trib there will be Christians who have not been killed that will repopulate the Millennial Kingdom. Hope this helps.

I never knew there was any other way of reading the Bible until about a year ago. Dispensationalist in my area claim that the Holy Spirit is completely removed at the rapture. The only way to be “saved” during the tribulation is to accept Christ AND follow the law. Some even said you can’t go to heaven unless you die a martyr during the tribulation. I was taught that my whole life, and it is still taught quite frequently in my town. Is this belief very uncommon?
