The sound of the immersionist’s voice heard everywhere. Very few voices are raised in opposition. Obviously, some immersionists speak overmuch on the subject; but just as truly, most of those who disagree with them say far too little. Who knows whether the times are not now ripe for a fresh study? The words “one Lord, one faith, one baptism” (Eph 4:5) clearly indicate there is only one baptism. As a consequence, the meaning is single and the mode is single.
