Description
Dr. Daane has been one of Van Til’s severest critics. In a sense this book is a comprehensive answer to Daane’s criticism. However, it is far more than that, as in this book Dr. Van Til also considers how Reformed theologians in general may speak significantly to the leaders of thought of this generation. How can they make intelligent contact with the outstanding theologians of today? Must the Reformed Faith compromise its historic position if such contact is to be made and maintained? Dr. Daane and Dr. Van Til do not agree altogether in their response to such questions. Daane’s position in this problem is worthy of serious consideration and in this book Van Til gives a critical analysis of Daane’s views.
