The Glory of Grace

William Boekestein’s latest, The Glory of Grace: The Story of the Canons of Dort, is now available from Reformation Heritage Books. Like Faithfulness Under Fire and The Quest for Comfort, this volume is illustrated by Ryan Hughes—bringing to life this rich history. I’ve read The Quest for Comfort to my infant son numerous times. Even though he can’t understand much of anything I’ve read, I’ve benefited greatly myself. Here is an excellent way for children and adults alike to be encouraged by the history of an important Reformed confession and its resolve to teach salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone.

Asking questions are really pleasant thing if you are not understanding anything fully, except this piece of writing provides good understanding yet.

  2. I think presenting religious teachings in an interesting manner can go a long way when it comes to getting the message across.

I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve. (Romans 16:17-18)
