With regards to your question why there is no feminine member in the Godhead. John N. Oswalt argues that when the feminine is brought into the cult, religion quickly degenerates into a fertility cult with all the sexual trappings attached. This is a purely functional answer, but I think Oswalt might be on an interesting avenue to think through the issue.
