The awkward silence and giggles after Yannick first spoke was pretty awesome. A friend and I were listening while driving up to Kuala Lumpur and had to listen to that thirty seconds or so twice. Were you all expecting him to speak in French?

Actually it was Kim that spoke in French! We had agree beforehand that he would speak French and Mrs. Edgar would translate for the listeners, but there was a hitch in getting that done. I think she was expecting a cue of sorts, hence the pause and subsequent nervous laughter. 🙂
