Dawkins and Krauss Featured in New Atheism Documentary

Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss, figureheads of the “new atheism,” are featured in a forthcoming documentary titled The Unbelievers. The film follows Dawkins, an evolutionary biologist, and Krauss, a theoretical physicist, around the world as they promote their particular scientific worldview and combat what they see as the great danger of religion. In what may prove to be another form of counter-fundamentalism, the filmakers have enlisted the support of an impressive list of celebrities including Woody Allen, Cormac McCarthy, and Ricky Gervais. It will no doubt be a discussion piece when it’s released later this year.
