In the early 19th century, a controversy arose in American Presbyterianism over evangelistic method and doctrines such as the imputation of Adam’s sin. One group identified as the Old School Presbyterians and organized around teachings such as the regulative principle of worship, Presbyterian polity, Calvinism, the spirituality of the church and warm, winsome preaching that applies God’s truths to men’s hearts. Andy Webb joins Jim Cassidy, Jeff Waddington and Camden Bucey for a discussion on building old school churches.
