The Atonement as Propitiation

Propitiation means to appease or avert divine wrath. This episode of Christ the Center examines the atonement as propitiation as we discuss the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the propitiation of the wrath of God toward his people.

You may download Jeff Waddington’s notes from a class he taught on the atonement. Our discussion generally follows the outline laid out in the notes.
